An orientation meeting was held by the Department of Health Care Services at Gazi University Health Services Vocational School on September 21, 2026, at 13:00 in our School’s Conference Hall to provide information to students who have newly enrolled in our Department.

The meeting was organized to facilitate the adaptation of our newly enrolled students to university life. During the meeting, information was provided about the Mission, Vision, and academic objectives of our University and School. Students were informed about university life, the educational structure of the Department, the courses included in the curriculum, internships and clinical practices, as well as important academic matters they should pay attention to throughout their education and training. Fundamental information to support their adaptation process was also shared. In addition, our first-year students were introduced to Peer Mentors who will support them both academically and socially.

As part of the orientation program, detailed information was provided about the objectives of student communities operating under the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, the opportunities they offer for students’ social development, and the application procedures. The presidents of the Satır Arası Gazililer (https://topluluklar.gazi.edu.tr/view/page/296649) and Yaş Alan Eller (https://topluluklar.gazi.edu.tr/view/page/298336) student communities established within our Department also attended the meeting and provided information about their respective communities.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views and a question-and-answer session.
